Orientation 101

What is the fee for St. Mike’s Orientation 2017?

This year the fee for orientation is included in tuition. You do not have to pay a separate Orientation fee. Therefore, if you are a registered student for the University of St. Michael’s College in September 2017, your fee for Orientation has been taken care of… all you have to do now is REGISTER yourself!

Do I still need to register for Orientation if the fee has already been paid for if I want to attend?

YES! All students who intend on participating in any or all Orientation week activities are required to register. There is no payment necessary, however we need basic information if you intend on participating in O-week events.

What if I am a commuter attending a late night event?

Whether it is a late night evening event, or programming that ends earlier on, St. Mike’s has got you! During Orientation week we offer an overnight space for commuters. If you intend on using this service, you MUST register.

Click here to be transferred to our page where you can register and pay for overnight space.

Is there a fee for overnight space?

YES! If students are intending on staying in the overnight space, they must register and pay a flat fee of $20.00 using the link provided in the question above. This space is offered from September 3rd-6th, and we have our Orientation Staff and Commuter Dons managing and watching over this space.

* Shower use will be permitted for those registered for overnight space

When is Orientation?

Sunday September 3rd- Wednesday September 6th

When do the first day of classes begin?
Classes begin on Thursday September 7th

Will there be any Orientation events held after the first day of classes begin?

We will have light programming occurring at St. Mike’s on the first day of classes. One of St. Mike’s most exciting, competitive and traditional events that we will be hosting on this day is the U of T Bed Races. This an event where different colleges across campus create their own “bed racer” and compete against one another to win the cup! It will be taking place at King’s College Circle. Be sure to stop by and cheer on the undefeated St. Mike’s Racer Teams--- if you don’t have any classes scheduled during this time slot!
